at the prospect of coming home
home to all the familiar things i love
home to the smiling faces and childhood memories ...
The moment i stepped on the threshold, at the doorway
and looked up at the two smiling faces on the wall
my heart swells with love and joy, to say:
Mum, Dad, i'm home!
It is said that 'a house is built by hands,
but a home is built by hearts' ...
and that 'home is where the heart is' ...
so it is with this, our home:
we have all built it with our hearts
and that's surely where our heart belong
