when i'm feeling sad or feeling down...
you've always brushed away the teardrop -
and made me laugh, before the next teardrop falls...
you've been all that i have and ever will -
my pillar of strength, and my pool of joy...
you've given me hope, when times are bad -
and made me happy, when life's a drag...

So stay with me, and never wander off too far -
for i would always love to keep you in sight, be it near or far...
i would never tire of tracing your footsteps, in the mud or sand -
