Once in a while angels come by
just to cry,
and to reason why:
they say they did try,
but it just didn't work -
and they want to know why...
I have to reason why
and provide a reason, why?
for when some angels have given things a try
should they be asked to give it yet another try?
and if, in doing it, they have to again cry -
do i still make them give it yet another try?
I've always fought for justice, and fairness to all -
so it makes me very angry, when an angel is forced to cry!
and if for no good reason, nor fairness, nor logic
then it really makes my blood boil!
and i'll not rest my case - till justice is done,
i'll go on championing their rights -
till the storm blows over,
and everything is so calm, all over...
Once i did just that: saw the HM about someone getting special privileges at the expense of the other juniors (who were lamenting and groaning under the extra load). We were called into the HM's office and everyone(including my panel head) denied that there was any unhappiness taking over his classes for him, and that they "don't mind", and wondered why i had to bring up the issue (when everything's been 'settled')! It was a real let down and a stab in the back and i was so angry (and hurt) i just couldn't say a word!
ReplyDeleteThen there was another occasion where a difficult colleague was causing a lot of problems and and dissatisfaction among the others in my department. this time i was panel head and it became my duty to voice out the unrest she's causing. HM made known to her who her prosecutors were (i wasn't the only one) and what each of us had said, so she declared war: we became enemy no. 1: hated to the grave!
So, it's not easy championing the weak: we have to put our own necks under the guillotine!
I'm so happy to hear that my little angel has found her wings...
ReplyDeleteshe's given the chance to fly high
above the clouds, to soar so very high...
up, up, and away she'll fly
towards the sun, far, far away
just spread your wings, and fly away...
I'll just say this to her:
(though i'll miss her when she's gone away)
Fly away and make the flowers bloom
in a new place, in the gloom,
so that strangers can find comfort
to walk down the path - of "dancing daffodils"!
Hi 'Shikin! hope you like this 'coz it was writtn with you in mind, for you...
ReplyDeleteWish you all the best - in your new pond:
don't stay a tadpole,
grow up and be gone
to see new lands
and to conquer them all...
So, i'll be waiting to hear great things from you!
