that we had you in our arms:
That sweet little bundle of joy -
the bond that held us together ...

that we hear the pater of tiny feet -
as you took your first few steps ...
It seems like only yesterday
that we see you to school on the Pasola
and see you carry your bowl of soup noodles -
like all the SMCC girls ...
It really seems like just yesterday
that you were that sweet little girl
who shared all our holidays
and be the peace-maker in all the 'fights'
and the pride and joy in our life -
It really, trully seems like only yesterday ...
Now that our little girl
ReplyDeletehas grown into a young lady,
we're still very proud of her:
her stint in the NS,
her five years in UTAR;
her driving and great parking skill
are much better than mine, i must say!
her job in the advertising field
is what i have always wanted
to poke my little finger in, too!
i admire her guts, and her dare devil ways,
and would very much like to think:
that she got all that from me!
for i see alot of me,
in spirit and in soul,
writing about feelings, too, behold -
that can all be traced back to me...
